The mission of Bedford Stuyvesant Collegiate Charter School is to prepare each student for college. Bedford Stuyvesant Collegiate is a free, public middle school that opened in Brooklyn in August 2008. The school currently serves 221 students in the 5th, 6th and 7th grades, and will eventually grow to serve grades 5-12.

Bedford Stuyvesant Collegiate is located at 800 Gates Avenue, between Malcolm X Boulevard and Stuyvesant Avenue, sharing space with two other public schools.
