In the 2008-09 school year, Excellence Boys 3rd, 4th, and 5th Grade students took the 2009 New York State English Language Arts Exam (Winter) and the 2009 New York State Mathematics Exam (Spring). Excellence Boys 4th Grade students also took the 2009 New York State Science Exam (Spring), and our 5th Grade students also took the 2009 New York State Social Studies Exam (Fall).

3rd, 4th, and 5th Grade State Test Results: Focus on Literacy

On the 2009 New York State English Language Arts Exam, 84% of Excellence Boys 3rd Graders, 90% of Excellence Boys 4th Graders, and 90% of Excellence Boys 5th Graders scored "Advanced" or "Proficient," making Excellence Boys one of the highest performing public schools in New York City and State.

5th Grade State Test Results: Focus on Social Studies

On the 2009 New York State Social Studies Exam, 97% of Excellence Boys 5th Graders scored "Advanced" or "Proficient," making Excellence Boys one of the highest performing public schools in New York City and State.
