"Uncommon School with Lofty Goals"

" On more than one level the prep charter school is ahead of the educational curve. Its school day is nine hours, compared to many area public schools with seven-hour days, and its school year is 190 days... Despite the school being a charter school, therefore a public school, it has an air of a private institution. College banners line the walls of the classrooms, the students wear uniforms, and there are strict rules and regulations posted throughout the school regarding behavior in and outside the classroom."
