Nuestro enfoque se basa en el amor por el aprendizaje y en una feroz dedicaci\u00f3n a preparar a todos los estudiantes para que se grad\u00faen en la universidad y alcancen sus sue\u00f1os.<\/p>\n<p>Por ello, nos complace anunciar que hemos recibido una subvenci\u00f3n comunitaria piloto para estudiantes discapacitados de la Carta de los Derechos Fundamentales de la Uni\u00f3n Europea. <a href=\"https:\/\/k12education.gatesfoundation.org\/about\/\" target=\"blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Fundaci\u00f3n Bill y Melinda Gates<\/a>. Esta subvenci\u00f3n de tres a\u00f1os apoyar\u00e1 la investigaci\u00f3n, la planificaci\u00f3n y la aplicaci\u00f3n de nuevas iniciativas de educaci\u00f3n especial en dos escuelas secundarias de Uncommon, con el objetivo final de ayudarnos a mejorar los entornos de aprendizaje diferenciados y adecuadamente rigurosos que ofrecemos a los estudiantes con discapacidades a lo largo de toda su experiencia K-12.<\/p>\n<p>Uncommon se enorgullece de ser uno de los 10 beneficiarios de la OCM apoyados por la Fundaci\u00f3n Bill y Melinda Gates para poner a prueba nuevos enfoques de la educaci\u00f3n especial en nuestras escuelas secundarias. La innovaci\u00f3n en este \u00e1mbito es imperativa: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.crpe.org\/publications\/seizing-opportunity-educating-students-disabilities-charter-schools\" target=\"blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Uno de cada cinco ni\u00f1os en Estados Unidos tiene necesidades especiales de aprendizaje o atenci\u00f3n<\/a>. Aproximadamente el 20 por ciento de los estudiantes con discapacidades alcanzan el nivel de competencia en las evaluaciones estatales y, por t\u00e9rmino medio, menos del 70 por ciento obtienen un diploma de ense\u00f1anza secundaria en cuatro a\u00f1os.
