Durante los dos \u00faltimos a\u00f1os, Roxbury Prep ha tenido <a href=\"https:\/\/uncommonschools.org\/es\/news\/roxbury-prep-rally-vote-high-school-building\/\">una propuesta para una nueva escuela secundaria<\/a> en el emplazamiento de un lote de coches usados y taller de reparaci\u00f3n de autom\u00f3viles vac\u00edo y ruinoso en el 361 de Belgrade Ave. en Roslindale.<\/p>\n<p>Pero el proceso les est\u00e1 llevando mucho m\u00e1s tiempo de lo habitual. En los dos \u00faltimos a\u00f1os, la media de espera para que la BPDA incluya un proyecto en su agenda tras el cierre del periodo de comentarios ha sido de 83 d\u00edas. Han pasado m\u00e1s de 340 d\u00edas desde el cierre del per\u00edodo de comentarios sobre la propuesta de Roxbury Prep para una nueva escuela secundaria.<\/p>\n<p><strong>CU\u00c1NDO:<\/strong> Jueves, 12 de marzo @ 16:30-17:30.<\/p>\n<p><strong>D\u00d3NDE:<\/strong> Sala del Consejo de BPDA (Sala Kane Simonian, Sala 900), 9\u00aa planta del Ayuntamiento de Boston, 1 City Hall Square, Boston<\/p>\n<p><strong>OMS:<\/strong> Alumnos de Roxbury Prep, familiares, profesores, administradores escolares y simpatizantes de la comunidad.<\/p>\n<p><strong>QU\u00c9:<\/strong> Los estudiantes de Boston asisten a la reuni\u00f3n de BPDA para una protesta silenciosa para seguir abogando por un edificio permanente de la escuela secundaria.  <\/p>\n<p><strong>POR QU\u00c9:<\/strong> <a href=\"http:\/\/roxburyprep.uncommonschools.org\/\">Preparaci\u00f3n Roxbury<\/a> es una escuela p\u00fablica concertada, gratuita y de alto rendimiento, abierta a todos los estudiantes de Boston. Se fund\u00f3 hace 20 a\u00f1os con la misi\u00f3n de garantizar que los estudiantes accedan, tengan \u00e9xito y se grad\u00faen en la universidad. El a\u00f1o pasado, 94% de su promoci\u00f3n se matricularon en universidades de cuatro a\u00f1os, y el 100% de los alumnos de \u00faltimo curso cursan al menos una asignatura de Colocaci\u00f3n Avanzada (AP), con un 62% que aprueba al menos un examen AP, muy por encima de la media nacional.<\/p>\n<p><strong>ANTECEDENTES:<\/strong> Los estudiantes de Roxbury Prep High School asisten a clase en dos edificios separados situados a kil\u00f3metros de distancia. Los alumnos almuerzan en sus pupitres y van andando a la YMCA local para las clases de gimnasia. Han tenido que cambiar de ubicaci\u00f3n tres veces en los \u00faltimos cuatro a\u00f1os. Roxbury Prep ha propuesto la construcci\u00f3n de un estado de la escuela secundaria de arte en 361 Belgrado Avenue, un lote que actualmente alberga un uso vacante y en mal estado lote de coches y taller de reparaci\u00f3n de autom\u00f3viles. Pero durante m\u00e1s de un a\u00f1o, la BPDA ha retrasado la programaci\u00f3n de una audiencia necesaria para que el proyecto siga adelante. Roxbury Prep ha celebrado m\u00faltiples reuniones p\u00fablicas, ha escuchado las opiniones de la comunidad y ha respondido reduciendo el tama\u00f1o de la instalaci\u00f3n propuesta. M\u00e1s de 2.000 residentes de Boston, entre ellos 800 de Roslindale y West Roxbury, han firmado una petici\u00f3n de apoyo al proyecto.
