For months BPDA has refused to put the project to a vote for a hearing. Why?<\/p>\n<p>As the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bostonglobe.com\/2020\/06\/25\/opinion\/roxbury-preps-future-offers-chance-healing\/?event=event12\" target=\"blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Boston Globe Editorial Board notes<\/a>, if the BPDA&#8217;s own statement that &#8220;the agency &#8216;has a unique opportunity to create a more equitable city for all,&#8217; [then the] new Roxbury Prep high school [building] can be part of that.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The proposed state-of-the-art facility has undergone multiple revisions to address community opposition, including decreasing the number of students who can attend from 800 to 560 among others.
