C'est particuli\u00e8rement vrai pour les \u00e9l\u00e8ves souffrant d'un handicap et ayant un plan d'enseignement individualis\u00e9 (PEI), pour ceux qui apprennent l'anglais et pour tous les \u00e9l\u00e8ves qui ont besoin de services suppl\u00e9mentaires pour r\u00e9ussir sur le plan scolaire. Notre approche est fond\u00e9e sur l'amour de l'apprentissage et un d\u00e9vouement sans faille \u00e0 la pr\u00e9paration de tous les \u00e9l\u00e8ves pour qu'ils obtiennent un dipl\u00f4me universitaire et r\u00e9alisent leurs r\u00eaves.<\/p>\n<p>\u00c0 cette fin, nous sommes ravis d'annoncer que nous avons re\u00e7u une subvention de la communaut\u00e9 pilote Charter Students with Disabilities de la part de l'Agence europ\u00e9enne des droits fondamentaux. <a href=\"https:\/\/k12education.gatesfoundation.org\/about\/\" target=\"blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Fondation Bill et Melinda Gates<\/a>. Cette subvention de trois ans soutiendra la recherche, la planification et la mise en \u0153uvre de nouvelles initiatives en mati\u00e8re d'\u00e9ducation sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9e dans deux lyc\u00e9es Uncommon, dans le but ultime de nous aider \u00e0 am\u00e9liorer les environnements d'apprentissage diff\u00e9renci\u00e9s et rigoureux que nous offrons aux \u00e9tudiants handicap\u00e9s tout au long de leur exp\u00e9rience K-12.<\/p>\n<p>Uncommon est fier de figurer parmi les 10 b\u00e9n\u00e9ficiaires d'une subvention de l'OCM soutenue par la Fondation Bill &amp; Melinda Gates pour piloter de nouvelles approches de l'\u00e9ducation sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9e dans nos \u00e9coles secondaires. Il est imp\u00e9ratif d'innover dans ce domaine : <a href=\"https:\/\/www.crpe.org\/publications\/seizing-opportunity-educating-students-disabilities-charter-schools\" target=\"blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Aux \u00c9tats-Unis, un enfant sur cinq a des besoins particuliers en mati\u00e8re d'apprentissage ou d'attention.<\/a>. Environ 20 % des \u00e9tudiants handicap\u00e9s r\u00e9ussissent les \u00e9valuations de l'\u00c9tat et, en moyenne, moins de 70 % d'entre eux obtiennent un dipl\u00f4me d'\u00e9tudes secondaires en quatre ans. En tant que nation, nous pouvons et devons faire mieux.
