For the high school students, time was of the essence.<\/p>\n<p>The Advanced Placement Exams were just a few weeks away, and almost all North Star high school students were registered to take them online. These tests are critical for the college and university admissions process. Uncommon&#8217;s teachers and staff worked tirelessly, and just four days after closing the physical school, a new online high school was launched. The students were back on track and learning during the worldwide coronavirus pandemic.<\/p>\n<p>In a presentation to students, Principal Michael Mann told the students that they have faced adversity in the past and persevered.
