Para aquela turma fundadora de 72 alunos e suas fam\u00edlias, fizemos uma promessa. A promessa de oferecer a eles uma educa\u00e7\u00e3o excepcional que os preparasse para se formar na faculdade e realizar seus sonhos.<\/p>\n<p>Nossa firmeza e compromisso com essa promessa nos permitiram crescer por mais de duas d\u00e9cadas at\u00e9 chegarmos onde estamos hoje: 53 escolas atendendo a mais de 20.000 alunos em Boston, Camden, Newark, Nova York e Rochester. Desde a nossa primeira turma de formandos em 2004, 99% dos nossos formandos foram aceitos em uma faculdade de quatro anos.<\/p>\n<p>Como organiza\u00e7\u00e3o, acreditamos que toda crian\u00e7a merece uma educa\u00e7\u00e3o excepcional. Temos o compromisso de trabalhar dentro e fora dos pr\u00e9dios de nossas escolas para atingir esse objetivo.<\/p>\n<p>Em uma mensagem de v\u00eddeo para a equipe, a presidente da Uncommon Schools, Julie Jackson, nos lembra da import\u00e2ncia do motivo pelo qual fazemos o trabalho que fazemos.
