Thanks to the actions of Jay Lewis, Hofstra&#8217;s Associate Dean for External Relations, Field Place and Recruitment, 100 percent of these students retained their school placements and are teaching online.<\/p>\n<p>One such teacher is Imani Hinson (&#8217;20), who teaches 11th grade AP History at Uncommon Charter High School. \u201cThe school was prepared, and the teachers were familiar with the technology,\u201d she says. \u201cThat has made a difference.
