Uma nova disciplina eletiva de Rob\u00f3tica, liderada pelo engenheiro de rob\u00f3tica Dr. Cortney Bolden, est\u00e1 dando aos alunos a oportunidade de se aprofundar em t\u00f3picos de ci\u00eancia, tecnologia, engenharia e matem\u00e1tica (STEM), desde ci\u00eancia da computa\u00e7\u00e3o e geometria at\u00e9 eletr\u00f4nica e pensamento cr\u00edtico.<\/p>\n<p>\"Trata-se de exposi\u00e7\u00e3o a novas habilidades. Trata-se de resolver problemas. Trata-se de pensamento cr\u00edtico e at\u00e9 mesmo de ficar entusiasmado com a tecnologia e us\u00e1-la na vida cotidiana\", disse Bolden ao TAPintoCamden.<\/p>\n<p>Naquan Tatum, aluno da Camden Prep, disse ao TAPintoCamden que \"no in\u00edcio, a aula parece dif\u00edcil, mas depois fica mais f\u00e1cil e voc\u00ea se torna cada vez melhor. A aula fica mais divertida\".<\/p>\n<p>O entusiasmo n\u00e3o se limita apenas aos alunos. A diretora da CPHS, Syrena Burnam, que tamb\u00e9m \u00e9 educadora STEM, tamb\u00e9m est\u00e1 entusiasmada com o programa.<\/p>\n<p>\"As aulas de STEM que permitem que os alunos construam e criem permitem que eles explorem o que os matem\u00e1ticos e cientistas realmente fazem de uma forma que envolve e entusiasma muitos adolescentes\", diz Burnam. \"\u00c9 assim que nosso programa de rob\u00f3tica faz com que eles pensem em continuar sua educa\u00e7\u00e3o STEM em programas desafiadores de ver\u00e3o no ensino m\u00e9dio, est\u00e1gios e na faculdade.\"<\/p>\n<p>O programa p\u00f3s-escola segue o <a href=\"https:\/\/www.firstlegoleague.org\/\" target=\"blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Primeira Liga Lego<\/a> projetado para apresentar conceitos STEM a jovens de 4 a 16 anos de idade. E, embora nossos alunos estejam aprendendo remotamente, o Dr. Bolden diz que ministrar a aula n\u00e3o \u00e9 imposs\u00edvel.
