Daniel Danquah is a psychology student who graduated this past fall. With the support of his alumni coach, Naliaka, and the Persistence Grant, he successfully completed his coursework and crossed the finish line.
Daniel’s path wasn’t always easy, but he thrived at Hunter College—a notoriously rigorous institution—by taking full advantage of every opportunity. He worked on campus, utilized tutoring services, and networked extensively with professors and peers alike. Now a proud graduate, Daniel is eager to give back to his community. His goal is to work his way up to becoming a counselor at his alma mater, UPC.
Reflecting on his time at Hunter, Daniel shared,
“I valued my time at Hunter College because it cultivated resilience and strengthened my leadership skills. The academic rigor and campus environment challenged me to grow both personally and professionally. Additionally, through the Christian group I joined on campus, my relationship with God deepened significantly, shaping my character and grounding me during pivotal moments of growth.”
