Jessica Rosado

Jessica Rosado graduated from NSAWPHS in 2022, and currently attends Oberlin College in Oberlin, Ohio. Jessica is double majoring in Law and Society and Hispanic Studies. Jessica is a stellar student, having earned 16 credits during the fall 2022 semester, 28 cumulative credits and a cumulative GPA of 4.16. By the end of the spring 2023 semester, Jessica will have earned 46 cumulative credits as she is taking 18 credits this semester, which will put her at sophomore standing! 

Jessica is an active member of the Oberlin campus community, participating in the Alianza Latinx Club, a space in which she can engage with her fellow Latinx students. Furthermore, she volunteers her time with El Centro Volunteer Initiative in which she meets with members to plan lessons and teach Saturday morning English classes to groups of Spanish and Portuguese speaking students. She is also into creative arts, working at Kendal at Oberlin which is a retirement living facility- as a Creative Arts Therapy Assistant for her community based work study. 

As Jessica prepares to finish her freshman year of college strong, she is looking forward to working at the Hathaway Brown School’s Aspire Program, which is a 6-week program that teaches Social Studies to 6th- grade girls who come from underserved schools & neighborhoods this summer. This program operates through the The Cuyahoga program, an 8 week in residence program at Case Western Reserve University in which she will be engaging with others who are doing an internship in Cleveland as well!
