Our Home Office team applies their talents and expertise in service of our entire network of 54 schools. Through the strategic and administrative leadership and supports they provide, our Home Office empowers our schools to achieve at the highest levels.
Home Office Roles
Our Home Office team members leverage a diverse set of skills and experiences from across industries in supporting our schools. The majority of our Home Office team members work out of our main New York City office and our Newark regional office, with additional small regional offices in Boston, Camden, and Rochester.
Talent
Our HR, Recruitment, Talent Development and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion teams ensure we hire the best, most diverse staff for our schools and provide them with top-tier supports.
Data and Information Technology
Our Data Analytics and IT teams keep our schools running by providing the student achievement data and analysis we use to drive our decisions, and the critical IT infrastructure and technical support on which our schools depend.
Finance and Real Estate/Facilities
Our Finance, Accounting, Compliance, and Real Estate & Facilities teams support all the fiscal and facility-related services and processes that allow our schools to function, from ensuring the financial sustainability of our schools to overseeing our capital projects to build new schools.
School Management and Instruction
Our Curriculum and Assessment, Content Development, and teams supporting the Chief Schools Officers and Assistant Superintendents provide curricular leadership, professional development, and critical tools to our principals and instructional leaders across the network.
Operations and Projects
Our Operations and Special Projects teams fulfill a variety of specialized roles across our network, providing leadership and project management for critical initiatives and day-to-day support to our regional and executive leadership teams.
Development and External Teams
Our Development, External Affairs, Impact, and Marketing teams are ambassadors of Uncommon to everyone from donors and the press to community leaders and local school district partners, and our extended community of parents and supporters.
