A powerhouse to be reckoned with, Chynah Tyler represents the 7th Suffolk District in the Massachusetts House of Representatives and serves as chair of the Massachusetts Black and Latino Legislative Caucus. Beyond the amazing work Chynah does with the Roxbury, Dorchester, and Mission Hill communities in the Boston area, she continues to give back to our Uncommon network in immeasurable ways.
Chynah continues to make an impact in our schools as she engages with our students and their families to discuss their experiences within their communities. She shines light on the power of their voices, the power of voting, and the strength of community. She believes “it is crucial we engage and empower our youth today, so they can be the leaders of tomorrow who can preserve our legacy.”
