Cynthia Leger serves as the Chief of Operations for Schools, where she oversees K-12 school and regional operations for our North Star, Camden Prep, and Roxbury Prep regions in New Jersey and Massachusetts. During her time at Uncommon, Cynthia served as the Managing Director of Operations for NJ and MA, Associate Chief of Operations for North Star and Camden Prep elementary schools. and the Founding Director of Operations for North Star Academy Fairmount Elementary School. Before joining Uncommon, Cynthia was a children’s writer for Hollister Kids and a textbook editor at Pearson Education. Cynthia received her MPA from NYU Wagner School of Public Service, where she co-led the Wagner Education Policy Studies Association and earned the Robert Berne Award for Leadership. She holds a BA in English Literature from Swarthmore College and a certificate of Business Excellence from Columbia University.
