Shana Pyatt

Shana Pyatt has been a leader in education for almost 30 years. Starting her educational career in Secondary teaching, she has broadened her experience to include the following roles: Middle and High School Science Department Chair, High School Testing Coordinator, Dean of Curriculum and Instruction, and High School Principal. She has spent the majority of that time supporting social justice work at Uncommon Schools. Through her service in multiple roles in the education space and her M.S. in Multicultural Education, she has been able to develop internal organization-wide programs, lead instruction, and work with the modification of systems, practices, and material, which serves all students and staff in our community.
