Allison Johnson is the founding Senior Manager of Computer Science for Uncommon Schools, leading the initiative to increase CS self-efficacy and expand CS access for all students. Allison is a former math and CS teacher, and was the recipient of a 2015 Milken Educator Award for her work at Uncommon’s North Star Academy in Newark, NJ.
In addition to her work at Uncommon Schools, Allison has developed a CS Institute at the Relay Graduate School of Education and designed AP Computer Science A curriculum for the College Board. She holds a B.S. in Mathematics from Haverford College and an M.S. in Applied Mathematics from the University of California, San Diego.
